Last Sunday I made reference in my sermon to Thomas Boston’s analogy of growth that should be expected in the Christian’s life:Though every part of the man is renewed, there is no part of him that is perfectly renewed. As an infant has all the parts of a man but none of them come to perfect growth, so regeneration brings a perfection of parts, to be brought forward in the gradual advances of sanctification.
May we continue to "grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ" (Eph 4:15).
