Byron G. and I picked up Conrad Mbewe at the Charlottesville Airport this afternoon. He safely made the 24 hour plus journey from Zambia. We had an interesting chat on Reformed theology, the history of the Kabwata Baptist Church, how he came to Reformed theology, the state of evangelicalism in Zambia, etc. on the drive from the airport to his hotel.Dr. Derek Thomas will fly in tomorrow afternoon.
I am looking forward to this year's Evangelical Forum which will meet tomorrow, Friday, September 25, from 7-9 pm and Saturday, September 26, from 9:30-11:30 am.

I was able to use Pastor Mbewe's remark about evangelizing the "almost saved" in my sermon yesterday at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.
It was a very good conference this year, and Debbie and I both are already looking forward to next year.
