Pastor Riddle,
Which Psalter would you recommend for public worship? What are your thoughts on acapella exclusive psalmody? Thanks!
We use the "Trinity Psalter" published by Crown & Covenant. There is also a great online resource for this so you can listen to tunes. Though I hold to limited and minimal accompaniment I am not convinced by the acapella-only argument. For a recent case for this view, however, I'd suggest Robert Price's "New Light on Old Worship" if you have not read it.
Pastor Riddle,
Thank you for the information. Where do you stand on Psalmody? Do you hold to Inclusive Psalmody or Exclusive Psalmody? What do you think of Mark Fitzpatrick and Malcolm Watts Exclusive Psalmody positions? Would you recommend them as resources on Exclusive Psalmody from a Reformed Baptist perspective? Thanks again brother! I appreciate your resourcefulness and patience in addressing so many issues.
