Stylos is the blog of Jeff Riddle, a Reformed Baptist Pastor in North Garden, Virginia. The title "Stylos" is the Greek word for pillar. In 1 Timothy 3:15 Paul urges his readers to consider "how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar (stylos) and ground of the truth."

WM 281: Athanasius & Textual Arguments from Silence
Silence may be golden, and sometimes may represent consent -- but silence used as an argument of historical refutation is certainly a logical fallacy. I cannot argue that Abraham Lincoln did not stub his big toe on Saturday, August 26, 1855 just because the historical record is silent on the matter. Thanks for the video and lesson.
By the way, the debater interviewed by Foskey was Thomas Ross rather than William Ross.

Yes, Thomas, of course, brain malfunction. I'll add a correction note to the video.
Thanks, JTR
